Last September 8, 2023, Ms. Aleli Dugan, representative of Divine Word College of Calapan (DWCC), Philippines and her delegation visited and worked at the University of Hanoi. On behalf of the School leadership, Principal Nguyen Van Trao and teachers representing the leadership of the departments participated in the reception.
At the next session, Ms. Aleli Dugan said she was honored to visit and work with the University of Hanoi to learn about and to open opportunities for cooperation between the two schools in the future. Ms. Aleli Dugan assesses, the two schools have many similarities in training programs ranging from undergraduate to master, doctoral and also prospects for collaboration in the field of faculty, student and student exchange.
Responding to DWCC representatives, Principal Nguyen Van Trao expressed his happiness to be welcomed and worked with the group. The principal appreciated the quality and expertise in English teaching of DWCC and said that this would be a potential area of collaboration between the two sides. Furthermore, Principal Nguyen Van Trao said, the two sides can cooperate together in the exchange of expertise, research together, starting with co-organizing international seminars.
Detailed contents will continue to be discussed by both sides, discussion prior to implementation. The visit and work of the Divine Word College of Calapan team at the University of Hanoi opened prospects for future cooperation between the two parties.
Divine Word College of Calapan was established on April 1946. The academic programs offered during the school’s first year are pedagogical education, liberal arts, law reserve, including short-term courses in typing and accelerator.
