We, the people, have the power.
It’s that time of the year again when campaigns would call our attention and challenge our choices. In this seasonal BOTO DIVINISTA by THE DWCC GAZETTE, a mock election survey to see the senatorial preferences of the student body, let’s put that power to vote wisely and change the course of the country into practice.
On this very day, our predecessors had triumphed democracy over dictatorship through the combined efforts of the people —the momentous 1986 EDSA revolution. They achieved freedom, regained human rights, and advocated for national change. Through this, our own voice rings louder than it did years and years before. Such power to affect the social and political climate should not be dampened by reckless thinking or swayed by blind faith.
The 2025 BOTO DIVINISTA will run from February 25 to March 2, and the results will be announced on a later date. Participate through this link:
