DWCC President Fr. Renato A. Tampol, SVD, PhD, warmly welcomed DENR MIMAROPA Regional Executive Director Felix S. Manalo, Jr., CESO IV, during his visit to the Divine Word College of Calapan campus.
Director Manalo’s visit marked the renewal of the Memorandum of Agreement for the Bangklase (Klase sa Bangka) program, signaling the resumption of its operations.
Bangklase, or Klase sa Bangka, is a research-based and innovative educational initiative jointly implemented by DWCC and DENR MIMAROPA. It aims to promote environmental protection, community engagement, and sustainable education focused on the preservation and nurturing of Naujan Lake.
Also present during the meeting were key officials from DENR MIMAROPA and representatives from the DWCC Community Extension Services Office, led by Fr. Ross Heruela, SVD, CES Director.
